Description
The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned territory. Sales Representative must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in- person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our product line. You will be consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments.
The position requires the ability to assimilate and learn a high level of technical information, anatomy, and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures. Sales Consultants will spend the majority of time in surgery interacting with both staff and surgeons. Must have strong time management skills and ability to manage personal surgical equipment and inventory. It is critical that he/she be a confident, highly motivated individual who places top priority on exceeding revenue goals.
Position Type: Full Time, typically more than 40 hours per week and will include some weekends.
Requirements
Job Requirements & Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent orthopedic sports medicine sales experience
1-2 years sales experience
Medical sales experience a plus
Background in sports, sports medicine, or competition preferred
Great communication and time management skills
Ability to maintain inventory of consigned products
Knowledge and background of human anatomy
Position Type: Full-Time, typically more than 40 hrs per week
Ability to lift 55 pounds
